teacher of the year award“Ms. Tracy is a very special ballet teacher because she uses her extraordinary creative talent in a gentle, patient and positive manner. The girls have learned not only how to dance but how to become respectful, resourceful and caring young ladies, qualities they will carry with them beyond the dance world. Ms. Tracy has impacted their lives through her example as a dance professional, a teacher and a mom. Ms. Tracy’s love of dance and her dancers makes me as a parent want to be better person and I only wish to be able to inspire children the way she can. Ballet is the basis for all dance forms as we know and without Ms. Tracy our dancers at Premiere Dance would not be as talented or as knowledgeable about their bodies and about their bodies and about their movement in the world.”

"The Dance Teachers' Summit in New York City is fantastic! Being a ballet teacher made me think there might be a limit to the number of classes to take, but I was pleasantly surprised by the schedule. There were wonderful classes, exhibitors and people! I found great music, inspiring ideas and made lots of new friends. I particularly enjoyed the ACE awards...seeing dancers and the works of choreographers I know, and the variety and talent of all the entries. I am so thankful to Maggie and Diane Delany for their heartfelt letter they submitted to Be Dance for Teacher of the Year...and to Julie and Christina at Be Dance and Gil Stroming (Break the Floor Productions) for giving me this fabulous experience!!! I will never forget my time in New York City at the Summit, or Julie and Christina's generosity."
