
JESSICA MONGENTALE (BFA, Theatre/Dance)
Jessica Mogentale is a dancer, teacher and choreographer. Jessica began her dancing at the eager age of 3 with the Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance. There she began her training in ballet and subsequently expanded into other methods of dance such as jazz, lyrical, modern and acrobatics. Jessica has studied and completed many ballet exams with the Cecchetti Society of Canada and has successfully attained her Checchetti Advanced 2 diploma. Among numerous awards and achievements, Jessica earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Ryerson University in theatre dance and performing arts. Jessica has been able to experience new types of dance, perform in many amazing shows, and work with excellent choreographers, some of which include Vicki Adams Willis, Linda Garneau, Matjash Mrozewski, Nadia Potts, Faye Rauw and Vicki St. Denys. Jessica also studied in Calgary, where she trained with the renowned jazz company Decidedly Jazz Danceworks, in their professional training program. Jessica is very excited to be teaching this dance season and hopes to share her love of dance with each student.
